Nov '08 Water Blind

This is a difficult all age water blind. The distance is 325 yards. First there is an angle entry with the on-line-entrance blocked by heavy vegetation. Next, the dam has a simulated poison bird in the form of a bumper located just off line of the true line (located exactly where Goose is on his return), Next is the 8 foot drop in elevation behind the dam and the 50 feet of lily pads on the back side of the dam, next is the first prominent point that must be avoided (dogs were not allowed to get on the point), next is the second prominent point that is heavily scented (dogs must get on and off this point), next is a heavily scented shoreline covered in hydrilla vegetation, last is the actual bird placement...it is behind the bush on the down slope (the dog must cast directly to the bird...it cannot be seen or scented since the wind is straight down the pond away from the running line).
