DU Waterfowl Retriever Challenge |
| This is a shot of the last series location for the D.U. Retriever Challenge held in Atlanta on October 20 &21, 2007. The green lines are two wipe out marks thrown at the same time...handler shoots both. The red line is a poison bird/mark that was shot by a bubba gunner sitting in front of a holding blind on the left side of the cove (it was a white Avery ATB...Flasher I think?) The yellow line is the 230 yard blind that was run after picking up the two wipe out birds and before picking up the poison bird mark. After the blind was run the dog must retrieve the PB mark. There were numerous decoys in the cove and on the point. The secondary cove near the blind was full of decoys. There was a large tree at the end of the blind the dogs had to climb in order to get the blind. Wind was blowing pretty strong on to the bank and kinda in the dogs face (sorta top right to bottom left of the pond). Nice blind! |
